- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪After almost 3 years with Citizens, my wife was in a head on collision that disabled her knee permanently. Due to loss of income we had a late payment and were canceled. We owed them $393 for the balance of 2017 and we were not "eligible" for reinstatement because of the 2 claims we made in a 6 month period. ( a glass chip and minor side swipe, which we didn't even get fixed ) Citizens has made it very difficult for us to have a normal household, my wife's income has still not been compensated for ( it's May 2017 and the crash, which she was not at fault for was November 2016 ) - if you are looking for an insurance company to protect your family and vehicles, I would highly recommend that you choose another company. Citizens has repeatedly failed us and now with this cancellation it looks like they are just looking at their bottom line.April 15, 2017by Digital Media Ministry
